MoldFlow Cosmos analysis provides data pertaining to heat transfer and is performed on non-standard tips or engineering grades of resin to predict proper contact of the nozzle tip to the tool, reduce stringing or melt freeze-off. This software is used to achieve optimal heating and improve efficiency of the manifold system.  This technology ensures the quality and performance of the design before drops are manufactured. The analysis give us the opportunity to test models digitally for valuable insight early in the design process. With the information from the analysis it is determined which material and design is best for our customer's application.  Also the software predicts stress / strain / fatigue loads on the drops to assure the design is optimal for the process.
